A Year From Now, You’ll Have Wished You Started
What is something that you haven’t started yet, but want to start?
What is something that you haven’t started yet, but want to start?
Why have you continued to hold off on starting this endeavor?
What risks are involved in you starting?
What consequences will come about if you do not start?
There are quite a few things we all have come around to wanting to do, but we haven’t. For some of us, we eventually get started, but we get started so late — only realizing how much time we wasted.
Why do we wait? Why do we wait on the things that matter to us? Why do we postpone our dreams? Why do we wait on the things that add value to our lives, and even better — the lives of others?
I know that I personally, no longer want to wait on the things I want to do. If something will take a while to produce results, why in the world would I make it take even longer by refusing to get started because I’m not feeling motivated? Well, I know for sure that after I get started, I also won’t always feel motivated either.
As I’ve grown, I’ve learned when to tune-in to my emotions and when to tune-out of my emotions — especially when something such as a precious dream of mine is on the line.
I don’t want 2021 to come around with me thinking, “I wish I had started on this in 2020.”
