We need to ensure we always allow those around us the opportunity to feel.
We may not always want to hear what other people have to say.
We may not always want to feel what other people feel.
We may not always want to have to deal with the pain of others.
This is okay.
What is not okay, is to block off the emotions of others.
What is not okay, is to mitigate and ignore the emotions of others.
It gets easier to allow others to feel when they are around us, when we ourselves know how to feel and don’t block off our own emotions.
