It’s so easy for many of us to forget to be thankful.
When we get caught up into living our lives without taking a moment to breathe or to be aware of our surroundings, we lose the very essence of life. Each day, take a moment to feel and breathe in your surroundings. Simply watch and observe yourself observe your surroundings. While you do this…be grateful for something.
Be grateful that you woke up today. Be grateful that you have another day to live. Be grateful that you have another chance and day to be happy. Be grateful for the people who have helped you throughout your life. Be grateful for the last person who made you smile. Be grateful and cherish the beautiful moments that happen throughout your life. Be grateful enough to show love to others. Be grateful enough to give back to others. Be grateful for every single person that adds (or has added) value to your life. Be grateful for the vibrations you can feel through your body to the sound of music. Be grateful for the wind you feel brushing your skin on a windy day. Be grateful for the uniqueness that makes up YOU. Be grateful for the purpose you have been given to fulfill in this world. Be grateful for all the opportunities you have had and will have in your life. Be grateful for the wins and the losses. Be grateful for the fun times and the sad times. Be grateful for the animals who demonstrate unconditional love towards you. Be grateful for the times you laugh and the times you cry. Be grateful for the humorous moments that make you laugh and cry at the same time. Be grateful for your strengths and weaknesses. Be grateful. A life filled with ungratefulness is a life not well-lived.
