We act like its expected
But it’s always a surprise
We know it will come
But we are never ready when it does
Life can seem meaningless when who you love is gone
But it’s who you love that makes life mean something
Which is why you can’t leave life alone
It happens to everyone
No one is immune
You can’t avoid loss
It always makes it way to find you
It’s here today and gone tomorrow
You’re here today and gone tomorrow
So why are you living a life filled with ample sorrow
It’s now and only now
But will you ever realize this
Or will you continue to go around and around
No sound, seven pounds, up and down, where are you now
You never stop so you’ll never know
You do things because they say so
You’re not you, you’re them
Your life is only a film
Unless.
