Every Mistake You Make Creates An Opportunity To Elevate By Atleast 1%
Allow mistakes to INCREASE your confidence; never the opposite
Mistakes Are Merely Opportunities
Mistakes can be your friend or foe. I choose to make them my friend.
The best thing about mistakes is that you can learn from them.
Once you learn your lesson, you can implement new knowledge and optimize.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve made many mistakes, and every time I do, I’m like, okay, now I know a better way to do this going forward.
Each mistake creates an opportunity for me to improve by at least 1%.
Many people freak out when they make a mistake, and I’m not saying there have been times when I haven’t freaked out, but for the most part, I remain calm and remind myself it’s not too serious—especially if I learn from it immediately and make the pivot.
You got to make an immediate pivot, though, so you don’t continue repeating the same mistakes.
Now sometimes, you will need to make the same mistake repeatedly because you are learning how to pivot, but once you learn how to pivot, keep moving in the new direction so that you can make expedited progress.
An awareness of a better way to execute something but not doing it that way is insanity.
Mistakes Affect Your Self-Esteem If You Allow It
You will make significant, small, and medium mistakes on your life journey. If you’re not careful, you will allow your mistakes to take a toll on your psyche and self-worth.
Self-compassion is a critical factor in anyone who desires to experience success.
If you don’t have self-compassion, you will continually beat yourself up and freak out every time you make a mistake; moreover, you will begin to allow your mistakes to define you and affect your self-esteem.
Never allow this to happen.
After you make a mistake, don’t identify with it.
Acknowledge it, learn from it, and move forward; this will work wonders on your self-esteem and create the opportunity for you to make rapid improvements.
