The more you allow negativity to run rampant, the more you will experience negative results.
It’s difficult to catch every negative thought that comes to mind or that you want to say, but the more aware we become of how negative we are, the more positive change we will experience in our lives.
I don’t believe in over-optimism, but I do believe that maintaining a more positive attitude about most things brings the best results.
What has negativity ever done for you?
For me, it’s done nothing.
But positivity has helped turn even the darkest situations into manageable situations.
Most of us are addicted to negativity; society thrives off it, which is why there is more negative than positive news, media, and stories.
Optimistic people tend to throw your average person off because people are wired to be negative. Some people find positive people annoying because their mindset is a hopeless one.
Challenge
Try being positive for 24 hours. Don’t say anything negative about your life or others. And if you have a negative thought, immediately replace it with a positive one.
Notice how you feel, and then do it for another day. Try to go for as long as possible. It’s more complicated than you might think. But we can retrain our minds, habits, and thoughts to be more positive, ultimately attracting positivity to our life experiences.
Seek to find the positive in everything; this mentality will keep you going, keep you focused, and keep you on track to experience a higher life than your average person.
There is no such thing as a bad day.
Some days are just better than others.
Focus on intaking positivity with books, music, media, and your relationships. Avoid spending considerable time conversing with negative people; they will only corrupt your mind and influence you to focus more on negativity than positivity.
