"Not Knowing What To Do And Taking Action Anyways Is A Superpower"
Hesitation will keep you at the starting line your entire life
Yesterday, I published the article: Hesitation Will Keep You At The Starting Line Your Whole Life. Then I came across Tim Denning’s quote today (the title of this article), which made me want to tackle the topic again.
We don’t have to build the perfect plan to accomplish our goals. We don’t even have to know how to reach our goals. All we have to do is start experimenting; trying different things slashes away the variables that won’t bring the right results. But if we don’t start trying, we will never make any progress.
The business plan, the certification, the degree, the course, the mentorship, the coaching program, the meetups, completing that dense book, and networking is all fine and dandy, but they aren’t necessary.
The most significant cause of failure is hesitation — constantly delaying your start.
If you have a goal and don’t know what to do, just get started. Trust the process. You’ll land in the right place after you experiment long enough.
