Nothing Changes Until You Prioritize Elevating Your Habits and Knowledge
Earnestly seek knowledge and wisdom

I listened to Kim Kiyosaki’s interview with Ann Marie Smith, and Ann mentioned reading about four books per week.
At first, I was like woah, that’s dope.
But it’s easy to do when you listen to audiobooks. You can finish one or more books daily while listening to audiobooks. You can also get through books faster when you increase the playback speed.
When you're doing busy work, many pockets of time allow you to intake quality content simultaneously.
The best thing about audiobooks is how much time they reveal you have available to learn.
The More You Read, The More You Evolve
My parents had us read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” at the dinner table as kids, but we also read away from the dinner table. My mother set a timer for 30 minutes for reading each day, and the habit stuck.
Reading, listening to podcasts, and consuming quality content are some of the best ways to elevate your financial situation.
It takes little effort to go to the bookstore, library, or another online resource and start reading.
Keep Your Financial Expectations Low If You Don’t Learn About Money
Many people stay in the same financial situation and income bracket throughout their lives because they never take the time to invest in their financial education.
Even people who earn a lot of money frequently end up broke because they never take a moment to invest in their financial education.
They don’t read.
They don’t listen to podcasts.
They don’t watch informative content.
They don’t network with people earning more than them.
They never learn how to manage their income productively.
They execute the same habits they’ve been practicing most of their lives, creating the same mediocre results.
The dangerous thing about habits is that they will only lead you to the correct destination if they’re the proper habits.
You will end up in a broke destination if you maintain broke habits.
Most people don’t have healthy, strong, and informed financial habits, so they’re on a train track that leads them straight to a dead end.
You’d think people would invest effort to learn to shift their financial situation, but the truth is most people are either:
Too lazy to learn new information.
Too apathetic to care about bettering their finances.
Too fearful to expose themselves to uncomfortable yet healthy financial habits.
Too cynical to believe they have the power to improve their financial situation.
It’s easy to keep doing the same thing. But the longer you do the same thing, the more numb and addicted you become to the average results you have always produced.
The Recipe For Financial Freedom
1. Consume quality personal finance content like a maniac.
Choose your preferred format (e.g., books, podcasts, articles, documentaries, conferences, etc.) and go ham.
Most of the world is ignorant about personal finance.
The only way to shift this dynamic is to study and deep dive into the subject voraciously.
2. Act.
It’s time to act once you obtain knowledge and filter out the information according to your situation.
The point right after obtaining and processing knowledge is critical.
Too many people become paralyzed and never decide to act.
You must act if you want to experience results.
The more you learn, the more you earn.
After every personal finance book I read, I learned more, earned more, and lived a smidge differently than before the book crossed my path, and the same applies to you.
Information is enormously effective when applied strategically.
And the more knowledge you acquire, the more financially dangerous you become.

Staying around people with good financial habits is a good habit too.
Knowledge and wisdom are very different and equally important. I love to read and joke that I even read junk mail. An additional thought you can learn just about anything for free just by using your local library. They will also search the around if they don't have the book you need.
