There are real levels of stress.
And there are pseudo levels of stress.
Stress is our notification system to let us know when we need to slow down and take a breath. But other times, we create our own stress — for no good reason.
If you are feeling any type of stress, take a moment to identify why you are feeling this stress.
Is this stress self-imposed?
Is the stress helping you grow?
Is the stress detracting from your happiness?
Is the stress something you can decrease at this moment?
Much of the stress we feel is within our control. Take a step today, acknowledge all of the different elements that are causing you stress and determine which ones you can rid your life of.
