Don’t set goals for the mere achievement of them. Set goals that will stretch who you are, make you grow, make you read more, make you uncomfortable, and change who you are as a person.
Set goals that will make something of you to achieve the goal.
Set goals that are above the average mentality. Set goals that seem out of reach. Set goals that sound crazy. Set goals that will take resilience, persistence, consistent effort, and a ravenous hunger to achieve them.
Go after your goals with a fierceness, and remember it is not about the attainment of the goal that matters most; but who you become in the process of achieving these goals.
Beware that you don’t settle too low of a goal that you lose out on opportunities.
