Stop Making Excuses for Things That Happened To You In Your Childhood
Most people didn’t have a perfect childhood.
Most people didn’t have a perfect childhood.
Even if we don’t realize it, every single one of us has been affected by our parents or guardians. We either learned: how not to be like them, how to be like them, or we were influenced by what they did and didn’t do, what they said and didn’t say, and what they felt and didn’t feel (both around us and not around us).
Excuses
Some of us make excuses for why our parents did certain things (to us or around us)during our childhood that affected us, and some of us don’t.
Today, I am telling you, you don’t have to make excuses for the choices of others; let others take responsibility for their actions.
Let go of the guilt and accept what did or did not happen in your childhood and take the time to heal from it.
