I think the hardest part of failing forward is still not knowing what works. But there is a kind of beauty in this journey. — Destiny S. Harris
Experiment: This is what it takes to succeed in your goals. Sometimes, right off the bat, we know what to do to get where we need to be. Other times [most times], we don’t have a clue what we need to do. We might have a few details or a fuzzy idea of some of the steps we need to take, but the clarity in the game plan is lacking.
Be uncomfortable, NOT having clarity: Clarity comes from experimenting. You have to try, try, try, and try again to deduce what works and what doesn’t work. You will feel like you are wasting time, money, and resources after many “failures” because nothing seems to be working, but this only means you need to continue moving forward [don’t stop].
We will never be able to avoid failure: We can only establish a healthy relationship with it, and utilize it to propel us forward. Once we get comfortable with the fact that each productive action we take will not yield fruit or a direct step to success, we are on our way.
