Before this week gets started, ask yourself:
What am I sacrificing my time for?
Where is the majority of my time going?
What is the majority of my time going to?
Who is the majority of my time going to?
Why is a majority of my time going to these places, things, and people?
Is it healthy for my time to continue going in these directions?
We all have our own lives, purposes, and responsibilities. Still, we must never forget that we have a responsibility to not squander our time on things and people not worthy of us.
It is too easy to lose track of our time and focus on the wrong stuff.
Our priorities will shift at different points of our lives, as will the things and people we invest our time in. Maintain a keen sense of self-awareness to ensure you don’t end up spending too much of your time on the wrong train track, or one day you’ll find yourself at the wrong destination.
It’s not too late for you to take a different train today if the destination you’re headed is in the wrong direction. We all have the power of choice; we can make a new decision at any point.
Time is not promised to us, which is why we must think thrice about how we utilize such an invaluable, indefinite, and limited resource.
Where is my time going, and do I feel good about where my time is going?
