Trying to do something is entirely different than doing something.
“I will try to be more focused and disciplined.”
“I will try to achieve this goal.”
“I will try to be more patient.”
“I will try to be more productive with my time.”
These are all worthless sayings. Instead the sayings should go as follows:
“I WILL be more focused and disciplined.”
“I WILL achieve this goal.”
“I WILL be more patient.”
“I WILL be more productive with my time.”
Take it a step further and proclaim:
“I AM focused and disciplined.”
“I AM achieving this goal.”
“I AM patient.”
“I AM more productive with my time.”
If you don’t know how to do something, or you feel a goal or task is too daunting for you, dive in anyways and do it.
The first time you might not get it right, but as you continuously make attempts at doing the task or completing a goal, you will eventually succeed.
Trying doesn’t work. Action does work.
