The best relationships are the ones that bring the best out of you and challenge you to work through your weaker areas and your dark side (that’s right everyone has one).
If you are in a relationship now, ask yourself these TEN questions:
Am I happy?
Is this relationship improving my life?
Am I better today than I was before I got involved with this person?
Do I love this person more than I did when I first started loving them, or do I love this person less?
Have I grown significantly since being with this person, or have I taken steps backward?
Do I take care of myself more or less since I have been in this relationship?
Are my stress levels lower or higher since being involved in this relationship?
Financially, has my status improved or plummeted?
Have any of my goals and dreams been achieved since being in this relationship?
Do I like the person I have become since first entering this relationship?
Your romantic relationship should elevate your life; it should never bring you down. Of course, there will be low moments in every relationship, but the overall product of a relationship should be positive.
